Perched on the edge of a stunning ravine this mid-century modern house had minimal table land to develop into a usable garden. We employed a very limited palette of materials in an effort to not distract from the natural beauty of the ravine setting. The 12 foot high cor-ten steel wall disguises an unsightly but very important retaining wall. The custom precast concrete water rill floats mysteriously off the wall and gently cascades into the basin filled with water hyacinths.
